Step-by-Step Guide:

How to Add Tire Sealant to a Tubed or Tubeless Tire

Choose Your Formula

First things first, choose your formula. FlatOut QuickStrike is available in three options: Small Tire, On Road, and Off-Road

FlatOut QuickStrike Small Tire: Scooters, One Wheels, Mopeds, and Bikes/eBikes with tires less than 3.5’’ wide.

FlatOut QuickStrike On Road: RVs, Boat Trailers, Horse Trailers, and Utility Trailers

*Not Recommended for Passenger Vehicles

FlatOut QuickStrike Off-Road: ATVs, UTVs, Golf Carts, Dirt Bikes, Fat Tire Bikes/eBikes (tires >3.5” wide), Lawnmowers, ZTRs, and Other Outdoor Equipment

Calculate How Much You Need

Dosage is key when adding tire sealant to your tires. Without enough FlatOut in your tires, you could lose too much air before the sealant has time to seal the puncture.

Calculate how much sealant your tires need using our Dosage Calculator here if your tire is not on the chart located on the back of the bottle.

Rotate the Tire to 3 O’clock Position

This allows for easy installation into the tire.

Remove Valve Core & Deflate Tire Completely

The valve core is a small, removable piece in the valve stem. It controls the flow of air in and out of the tire. Remove the valve core using the tool that comes on the lid of the FlatOut packaging or use a 444 tool. If you skip this step, the sealant will be stopped by the valve core.

Install Sealant Through the Valve Stem

FlatOut bottles and bags are equipped with a tube that extends and attaches to the valve stem. Secure the tube to the valve stem and lift the bag or bottle, and squeeze the sealant into the tire. You’ll be able to see how much you are installing by a clear measurement window on the side of the bottle.

Reinstall the Valve Core and Air Up Tire

Once the tire sealant is added, reinstall the valve core to ensure the tire is airtight. Finish the process by airing up the tire to manufacturer suggested pressure and enjoying 24/7 tire protection!

How Often to Add Tire Sealant to Your Tires
